The party was fun. I got to meet everyone that Josh works with, many for the first time. The whole set up was very nice but the food was a bit unorganized. Food is important when you're 35 weeks pregnant and having to wait in line for 30 minutes is not fun!! Other than that we had a great time and stayed about 3 hours.
Annika had a good time with my aunt. My aunt said that it was so much easier than she could have imagined. Annika has a routine and she knows it well and she "directs" people not familiar with the routine. When she was getting ready to go to bed and my aunt hadn't changed her diaper yet Annika brought her diaper caddy to her room, laid down on the floor and pointed to her diaper! Afterwards she got right into bed and went right to sleep.
It was a good night overall!
Glad you had fun and Annika was so good! It always makes me feel better knowing my child was well-behaved and happy while I'm away.
